Must have high school diploma or equivalent

 

Must be Civil Service approved

 

Prospective employees must receive state and federal clearance based on a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check. Details are available from the district personnel office.

 

Must have extreme patience working with young people.

 

Must be helpful and attentive to directions of the teacher.

 

Willingness and ability to assist in lifting and toileting of student.

 

Patience, consistency, able to manage challenging behaviors required.

 

Must help with organizing materials and supplies

 

Evidence of strong communication/interpersonal skills with parents, students and staff

 

Able to be flexible and accommodating.
