HIGH SCHOOL ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL – 11 Months

 QUALIFICATIONS  REQUIRED:

1. Valid N.Y.S. teaching certificate
2. Valid N.Y.S. School Building Leader Certificate
3. Minimum of 5 years, successful teaching and/or administrative experience

 

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:   

1. Administrative/teaching experience at the secondary level.
2. Background in the implementation of instructional technology, curriculum mapping, and professional development.
3. Evidence of strong instructional leadership and team building skills
4. Experience, knowledge, and background related to N.Y.S. learning standards and assessments.
5. Evidence of strong communication skills and positive interpersonal relationships with parents, staff, and students
6. Evidence of strong speaking and writing skills
7. Knowledgeable advocate for students
8. High energy and professional integrity
9. Able to perform as a visible and effective leader in both long range planning and daily operations of the district
